Of interest mainly to GPs working in rural areas or others likely to deal with roadside accidents, etc. Their practical Courses are excellent.

Huge but priceless. If you are a BMA Member, logon for full access to the online version of the BMJ.
General Medical Council
Check if your GMC registration is up-to-date here. Practice Managers use this site to check Sessional GPs' GMC registration status.

Main portal website for Primary Care practitioners in the Lothian area.
NHS Education for Scotland eLibrary
Brilliant! All the medical info you will ever need at the click of your wee sleekit moose..... But register for access first.
Royal College of GPs
Great site. Much of it is "open access", but for certain parts, you need to be a Member and have been given a username and password . Members get full access to the online version of the RCGP journal.
Scottish Health on the Web
Excellent portal site to the NHS in Scotland.
